Product Feasibility Study

Capitalise was contracted to the Mobile Radio Development team to provide a feasibility study and design approach for a 110 Watt APCO25 Two Way Radio. This study analysed competitive products, and proposed ways of achieving the product by internal development or adding on third party boosters.
Detailed analysis included system performance limitations, re-use of existing designs, thermal RF and mechanical design, costings, marketing, performance specifications, sales volumes and break-even analysis.

Encryption Project

CapITalise was contracted to the Tait Custom Integration division to Project Manage and provide the Technical Lead for a project to develop Secure Voice capability for Tait portable and mobile radios. This has been completed, and already sold internationally including Europe.
A Tait Paragon Award was earned by the team for Technical Innovation and Teamwork based around the flex PCB implementation.
This included the overall product design concepts, circuit design, flex PCB design, 3D packaging, active filter design, mechanical ruggedness, test & assembly methods, production engineering and integration into the radio audio processing.
A sales & technical support trip to Colombia, South America resulted in a major contract to supply these products.

Mobile Radio Product Management

Capitalise managed the ongoing product enhancements and new technical features of the current mobile radio product range for a period.


Canterbury Despatch


Business Redesign Project

Capitalise was contracted to this company that does all the Log distribution for Carter Holt Harvey Forests in Canterbury. Capitalise project managed the Business Redesign Project that developed a web-enabled database application on a Linux / mySQL platform for the management of log orders, scheduling distribution, transport load assignment, electronic dockets and CHHF log stocks. This system communicates daily with XML data transfer to and from CHHF’s SAP business system.


Dynamic Controls


Service Review Project

Capitalise was contracted to the Marketing Technical Services team to analyse, review, overhaul and document the After-Sales service processes. This included reviewing all current quality systems documentation, coordinating team meetings to plan improvements, updating the Quality Systems process chart and Procedures documentation, training users and corresponding with Dynamic partner companies and customers.
Dynamic works to ISO9001, ISO13485, and FDA Quality standards.



IBM Global Services



CapITalise was contracted to IBM GSA at Sydney Olympic Park for Facilities and Network Management at the 2000 Olympics. We received a service recognition award for this work.


Baan Consulting


CapITalise has carried out consulting and training on project management, data integrity and Baan Finance.
